Taste of Ukraine is poised for the urgency that the Covid-19 outbreak has presented. In response to the government designation of restaurants with take out service as ‘essential service’, we will continue to offer our food service with some necessary changes. STARTING IMMEDIATELY, WE WILL BE OPEN 4:00-8:00 FOR TAKE OUT OF HOT FOOD AND FROZEN PRODUCT ONLY. Our dining room is closed but our kitchen continues to cook for you! Thank you for your support regarding this decision to continue our “take out” service. Curbside pick up is also available. We are taking the utmost care to provide this service in the safety and hygiene expected of the food service industry, with special diligence under the compliance of an emergency situation. As many are saying: We’re in this together! Stay healthy!

THIS ACCOLADE SUPPORTS OUR PLEDGE TO PROVIDE THE MOST AUTHENTIC AND DELICIOUS UKRAINIAN CUISINE TO OUR PATRONS. WE ARE COMMITTED TO PRODUCING THE BEST HAND MADE UKRAINIAN FAVORITES UTILIZING ONLY THE FINEST AND HEALTHIEST INGREDIENTS. WE USE ONLY WHITE CHEDDAR IN OUR PEROGIES (‘VARENYKY’, IS ACTUALLY THE PREFERRED NAME FOR THEM) WITHOUT THE ARTIFICIAL COLORING OF THE ORANGE VARIETY.
November marks 8 years of business at our St. Albert location and a total of 15 years since opening at our old Edmonton location. Thank you! to all of our loyal customers at this location. It has been a sincere pleasure to serve you. Please come by again soon. We are proud to be recipients of the 2019 St. Albert Readers’ Choice Award of Best Ethnic Restaurant! We have the winning formula– great food, great atmosphere and great service. Thank you for recognizing our effort by voting for us.
After 7 great years at the original Edmonton location we had to close those doors and move to a new venue in St. Albert. Eight years later, here we are– still serving our fine Ukrainian food in St. Albert! If you haven’t yet had an opportunity to visit our St. Albert location, why not make our 15th anniversary a reason to come see us. Drive a little further for a lot more taste. Ми вас радо чекаємо! We eagerly await your arrival.
Everybody’s favourite little munchkin, Princess ‘Petrusia’ as she has been dubbed here, is frequently seen ( and heard!) visiting Taste of Ukraine with her little brother, Leo. Now that Natalka & Aaron’s little princess has turned five, she is happily “helping” at the restaurant, chatting up a storm in both Ukrainian and English, and definitely bringing much laughter and joy to us all. Kindergarten has been an easy transition for Petrusia– look out Neil M. Ross School! With her little brother turning 2, Petrusia is learning a new word — “share”, as she eases into the meaning of a sibling ‘prince’ who now shares her throne 🙂 Baba Orysia and Dido George have their hands full picking up after all of Petra’s “helping” and Leo’s creative re-arrangement. However, nobody is complaining about the time devoted to these precious little bundles of energy — Многая Літа, Петрусю й Левку! We love you both!
