The soup at Taste of Ukraine would soothe the palate of even the angriest Cossack.

Ian Ilich, Vue Weekly

This place was a real treat! It showcases the great variety of Ukrainian cuisine. They have the expected standards (which by the way are done beautifully) and they have many delightful less well-known dishes. The portions are huge so you better be hungry and prices are realistic. The unique art available for viewing is a nice addition. We plan to be back soon!

Lidia

Perogies are a Ukrainian restaurant’s litmus test. If it can make perogies well, everything else will fall into place. These perogies are perfect.

Scott McKeen, The Edmonton Journal

One of the major knocks on Ukrainian dining is the limitations of a menu most devotees already get at home. The other knock is the tendency to create a predictable décor that fails to lure wider support. Taste of Ukraine overcomes both of these obstacles with style and creativity.

Tom Elsworthy, The Edmonton Sun

Their concept has been to go beyond the commonly-encountered standards of Ukrainian cuisine. While perohy, cabbage rolls and kovbasa are certainly on the menu, theyb are there as accompaniments to a variety of meat, chicken and seafood entrees such as Chicken Kyiv, Hetman Mazeppa Steak, Odessa Prawns and Shashlyk.
